FULL DESCRIPTION:
2nd Shift Warehouse Manager
Sunday - Thursday 5:00 pm - 1:30 am
Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision
- Oversee order selection, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Ensure company policies are communicated, applied, and enforced (i.e., HACCP, safety, COVID-19 safety, operational, regulatory).
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Plan work quotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Orient, coach and motivate employees
- Ensure all dates of products shipping out are appropriate shelf life for critical customers.
- Upon completion of each route, you shall verify all products on each order checking for appropriate shelf life, expiration dates, verifying LOT numbers, quantity of cases, accuracy of products and lastly appearance of packages shipping out
- Begin invoicing routes so loading operations may commence while coordinating with Floor Lead ensuring time sensitive routes are loaded first
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual is a Plus
Hourly Wage Range $36 - $42 per hour
