Immediate opening for an Admin Assistant in San Diego, CA who possesses:
  1. Professional Communication-The environment is casual however the person will be expected to communicate effectively with a variety of different people at different levels from executives to vendors.
  2. Take Direction Well- Listen closely and follow instructions. This is a two-month assignment so there is not a lot of training therefore we are looking for someone that picks things up quickly and preform each assigned task in a timely manner.
  3. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role- Preferably in a construction or related industry.

FULL DESCRIPTION:
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the construction office team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and organizing and maintaining office files and records.
  • Assist with project scheduling, tracking project progress, and preparing project reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Assist with processing invoices, tracking project expenses, and maintaining financial records.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee onboarding paperwork.
  • Provide general office support, such as ordering office supplies, managing office equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in a construction or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction industry terminology and practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
Pay: $20-25/hr
