CNC Lathe Machinist - Defense Search
OVERVIEW

Immediate opening for a CNC Lathe Machinist in San Diego, CA who possesses:
- Must be able to complete full autonomous setup of Mori Seiki, Doosan, or FANUC Control machines
- Turning experience (ID and OD experience) and Strong Micrometer Skills
- Strong team player mentality

FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Operate one or more CNC machines
- Set-up machines and submit parts for first article approvals
- Use provided measuring equipment to inspect parts
- Complete a task with minimal supervision
- Participate in Safety improvement throughout the facility
- Keep your area clean, organized, and well maintained
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Machine Set-up experience
- Metrology experience
- Basic machine maintenance
- Ability to read engineering sketches
- Programming background a plus
- Formal CNC training courses a plus
Salary Range: $25-$34/hr
